The Internet of Stagnation

So what did the internet and information sharing gave us? Beyond to access to knowledge?

It pulled an impenetrable veil on sprout innovation.

Having a good idea? Well someone has already had it. You probably read about a similar thing being built and will abandon the idea. There's no value nurturing it, unless you bring something truly exceptional and innovative to the table.

Yet having something exceptional, requqires practice, trials, exploration, fails, idea morphing, merging of ideas etc.

With the veil, this is not encouraged anymore, instead, low hanging simple "life hacks" emerge.

What does this mean?

Well, for society to develop a new system, a new societal ideology will die in its infancy, at the time when the potential new ideology will be full of flaws and plagiaries, before it evolves into something meaningful.

Now whenever i read of a technological advancement, i think of how many people might have come up with that idea already.
